Performances from the January 19th episode of ‘Show! Music Core’

MBC’s ‘Music Core‘ is back once again with another fun and exciting show!
Today’s show was guided by none other than a special set of MCs, the one and only CNBLUE, who displayed their fun and dorky aegyo, something a bit different than normal.
Aside from the usual performances on tonight’s episode, Moon Hee Jun, CNBLUE, Baechigi, VIXX, SPEED, Phantom, and Tiny-G held their comeback stages while 2YOON made their sub-unit debut!

A young mother allegedly strangled her 10 month-old son to death at their home in Fujian Province. According to reports, the mother broadcast her actions on the internet.

The mother, surnamed Zou, is now in police custody. Police say that Zou called the ambulance to send her son to hospital after strangling him.
When she came to the realisation that her son could not be saved, she contacted police to turn herself in.

Shock

The bizarre and harrowing incident came as a massive shock to relatives.
The boy's grandmother told Dongnan Morning Post that her son and Zou were too young to get married but that they already lived together and their son was born last year.
She said the young couple had a good relationship and the incident came as a shock.
The young couple worked in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province and frequently left the baby boy with his grandparents in Zhangzhou, in neighbouring Fujian province.
However, according to the report, about three weeks ago Zou came home and wouldn't let anyone touch the baby.

Family conflict?

A police officer involved in the case has suggested that a family conflict may have sparked the tragedy.
According to the officer, Zou confessed she killed her son to get revenge on her husband and mother-in-law, as she was unhappy living with them.
Zou also believed her husband didn't care about their son, and the couple apparently had an argument prior to the incident.
Police sources confirmed Zou did announce on the Internet that she would kill her son and broadcast it live on QQ.com.
Investigations into the incident are still being carried out.

Krystal boasts of her young age to Victoria

Krystal boasted her young age to fellow f(x) member Victoria.
She posted a selca of herself with high pigtails and wrote, “Vic unni~ I didn’t exist in the 80′s.” Playfully teasing that she is nearly 8 years younger than Victoria.
Even though the camera was right in her face, her skin was flawless, and her smile to the camera was playful.
Fans commented, “The hair doesn’t seem to suit her..“, “Her skin is so pretty. It must be because she’s young?“, and “Are you teasing Victoria because of her age?“.

CNBLUE make their anticipated comeback with “I’m Sorry” on ‘Music Core’!

The boys of idol rock group CNBLUE are back with a vengeance with their new mini-album ‘Re:Blue‘,
The title track , “I’m Sorry“, was penned and composed by the leader Yonghwa, along with many other self-composed works by the CNBLUE quartet. There are six songs on the album including: “Coffee Shop“, “La La La” and an English version for “Where You Are“.

Girls’ Generation’s Yuri predicted that “I Got A Boy” would get a negative response

On the January 18th broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook‘, Girls’ Generation‘s Yuri opened up about how she reacted to the negative reviews of their latest comeback with “I Got A Boy“.
MC Yoo Hee Yeol asked, “How did you feel when you saw the negative reaction,” in response to how the public took some time to adjust to Girls’ Generation’s image transformation.
Yuri revealed, “Because the response was what we expected, we weren’t shocked and [took it fine]. This title track has a lot of fun elements, so we feel good trying something new. It is enjoyable every time.”
